About Vaibhav Totla
Vaibhav is a corporate professional turned part time composer/ song writer in Hindi/ Hindustani. He learned classical tabla as a child but gave it all up at the age of 13 as academics took over. With a busy career in investment banking, music was relegated to the sidelines.
27 years later - as mid life crisis hit - the love for music came back and he discovered his passion for creating original compositions and writing songs which touch upon social themes. Some of his songs have been used in indie films produced in Singapore. Vaibhav has composed and written lyrics for all the songs so far and sung a few as well. He draws his musical inspirations from maestros like Amit Trivedi and AR Rahman - but also from unique voices like Piyush Mishra, Shantanu Moitra and Indian Ocean.
