About Ghulam Mohammed
Ghulam Mohammed was an Indian music director and composer who had a significant career in the Hindi film industry. He is best known for his work during the 1940s and 1950s, particularly for composing music for films that focused on social issues and had a realistic portrayal of emotions.
Ghulam Mohammed started his career as an assistant to music director Naushad Ali and gained valuable experience working with him. He made his debut as an independent music director in the film "Majboor" in 1948. However, it was his association with the filmmaker Guru Dutt that brought him critical acclaim and recognition.
