About Parmish Verma

"Parmish Verma is a Punjabi boy who was born on 3rd July 1986 in Patiala, Punjab to Punjabi parents. He completed his school education at Yadavindra Public School, Patiala. He was a college drop out and after that, he moved to Sydney, Australia for further studies and enrolled himself for Hotel Management course but dropped out and after struggling in Sydney, he came back to Punjab and decided to build a career in acting. Before decided to choose his real passion, he worked as theatre artist for 10 years. He started his acting career in 2011 with the Punjabi movie Punjab Bolda. Soon, he launched his production house named Parmish Verma Films through which he directed Punjabi music videos of famous Punjabi singers. Some of his famous music videos are Aadat, Gal Jattan Wali, Gallan Mithiyan. He came into the notice from the song Thokda Reha in which he appeared as a model and the video was also directed by himself. After earning a huge name and fame, he appeared in his 2nd movie Rockey Mental as a lead role in which he made his singing debut with the song Le Chakk Main Aa Gya. The song became a sensation immediately after its release and thus far has garnered over 55 million views on YouTube. His latest song Gaal Ni Kadni has been highly appreciated and is arguably the biggest hit song of his career with nearly 70 million views. He is widely followed and has become a trendsetter as many people in Punjab have started keeping beard and hairstyle of his. His latest single Police too have been well received like his other singles. His journey from working in a pub to becoming a heartthrob in Punjab has been highly inspiring. Recently, he has grabbed two awards at the PTC Punjabi Music Awards.
