Krsna Solo is a shining star in the music industry, hailing from Kolkata. He is a highly accomplished and dynamic US Golden Reel Award-winning singer, songwriter, composer, and music producer, with over 20 years of experience in composing for feature films, music videos, advertising, television commercials, and documentary films.
He has vast experience composing for some of the biggest film production houses and record labels in India like T-Series, EROS Productions, VIACOM18, Fox Pictures India, ZEE Music, and many more. Krsna Solo has taken his fame and credibility beyond movies and started his music label ‘Panoctave Music’ in 2014 to create indie music and collaborate with talented musicians. He took it a step further and established Voxxora Music in 2020 to be a full-fledged music production and publishing house with Believe Digital Music.
Krsna Solo is also an active member of MPSE, Motion Picture Sound Editors, an organization of professional sound and music editors who work in all forms of motion pictures. He has bagged various prestigious awards like Filmfare, 2012 for Best Debut Music Composer and Stardust Award 2012, as Best Music Composer for his Debut Film Tanu Weds Manu. Additionally, he holds nominations in various awards like Sony Guild Awards, Producer’s Guild Fil Awards, BIG Star Awards, Screen Awards, GiMA Awards & Mirchi Music Awards.
With a degree in film making from National Institute of Design, and years of experience in directing ads and music videos, Krsna Solo has a visionary approach when it comes to composing for movies or non-film music. His knowledge of music composing, audio production, orchestral and song writing skills are truly extraordinary. He is a versatile musician with a colorful range of music styles and records, from Bollywood industry to pop, RnB, soul, trap and more. Like a master painter, he blends elements of Indian and Western music to create a symphony of sound that captivates the ear and touches the soul.
