About Caleb steven raj
Im a Coimbatore based Rap artist. Born in the US to Indian parents, raised in Saudi Arabia and returned to India to pursue music and higher education.
As a child, I grew up listening to many rap artists of the early 90’s and was inspired by their music. Hip-hop culture has helped me realize my true potential.
Over the past 11 years, I collaborated with a variety of artists from different parts of the globe to raise awareness about societal issues through music. I have performed in both English and Tamil languages at over 200 venues.
I started a Rhythm and Poetry (Rap) training program for students in 2018 and was successful in getting it implemented in schools. Rap music is currently being taught at five schools in Coimbatore because of this initiative.
I love to share ideas and create value through hip-hop music be it music production, song writing, teaching ,deejaying and performing.
