About Arnab Dutta

Arnab Dutta is an Indian singer who began learning music from a very young age. He lived in Howrah, West Bengal, and later relocated to Konnagar. After completing his studies at the Howrah Zilla School, Arnab did his B-Tech from the Bengal Institute of Technology and Management (BITM), Santiniketan. His earlier music gurus, till the age of five, included his mother Rubi Datta, Sailen Ghosh (for classical music) and Krishna Chakraborty (for modern music). He also trained under the guidance of Rabin Nandi at Banichakra, the biggest cultural institution in Asia. Kartik Das taught him Tal Sangat until he was 18. From the years 2005 to 2009, he trained under Pandit Jayanta Bose and considers it to be his greatest learning experience. Arnab Dutta has lent his voice to many melodious songs. He sang ‘Yunhi Besabab’, the title track of Lovebytes, India’s first web-series song on SonyLiv. He also sang ‘Mere Khuda’, ‘Sun Zara’, ‘Aye Zindagi’ and ‘Maula Mere’ for Vikram Bhatt’s first web-series Maaya. His song ‘Hamnava’ by Zee Music for the web-series Twisted is a popular number. For Vikram Bhatt’s film 1921 (2018), Arnab Dutta sang three songs — ‘Sun Le Zara’, ‘Kuch Iss Tarah’ and ‘Yaara’. In January 2018, he sang ‘Neer Mathalam’ along with Shreya Ghosal for the Malayalam film Aami.
