About Nishad Patki
Nishad Patki is a singer songwriter based in Pune. Nishad started his musical journey at a very
young age when he started to learn Hindustani Classical vocals under the tutelage of Pt.
Mohan Darekar. Growing up in the golden era of Indiepop in the 90’s, Nishad has always been
hugely inspired by Independent artists like Lucky Ali, Euphoria, Strings etc. His dream of
putting together his own band finally came true in 2017, when he founded the band The
Terrace Groove. Nishad is the lead vocalist, composer, writer and manager for the band since
then. The Terrace Groove released their debut 4 song EP called Darmiyaan in 2019 which was
an alternative rock EP. Nishad has performed more than 500 shows with The Terrace Groove
in and around Pune. Nishad & his band have opened for Lucky Ali & Mohit Chauhan in Pune. They have also headlined college events with over 5,000 footfall.
Nishad has released his first single as a solo singer songwriter called “Tujhsa Hai Nahi” in May
2021 .
Apart from music, Nishad has done masters in Civil Engineering (Hydraulics) and has worked at
Sinhgad College of Engineering, Pune as an Assistant Professor for 10 years.
